Sarah's Fusspflege is a foot-care studio in Gossau, in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen, run by certified foot-care specialist Sarah (Diplom Fusspflegerin SFPV). It offers cosmetic and nurturing treatments — nail and callus care, foot massage, nail polish and Shellac — in a calm, private setting, working with Peclavus natural cosmetics. The project was the design and development of a bilingual German and English website that carries the studio's unhurried, personal atmosphere online and makes booking an appointment effortless, under the guiding line 'Wohlfühlen. Schritt für Schritt.'
Challenge
The main challenge was to give a small, one-person studio the kind of calm, considered presence that reassures first-time clients — foot care is a personal subject, and the site needed to feel discreet and professional rather than clinical. It had to present treatments and pricing clearly, work equally well in German and English for Gossau's mixed clientele, keep booking within easy reach on every screen, and make sure nearby clients could actually find Sarah when they searched for foot care.
Solution
The solution was a warm, editorial one-page site, in a sage-green and cream palette with a classic serif display face that reads as quiet, spa-like care rather than a clinic. The content unfolds as a calm scroll — philosophy, treatments with transparent pricing, gallery, and about — with booking always one tap away through a persistent 'Termin buchen' button and chat bubble, in full German and English. It's also built to be found: nearby clients searching for foot care in Gossau land on a site that already feels as trustworthy and personal as the appointment itself, turning that first search into a booked visit.
