Kizomba
Dream
is
a
kizomba
school
located
in
Zurich,
dedicated
to
promoting
the
culture,
musicality
and
connection
of
this
African
dance.
The
project
consisted
of
creating
a
modern
and
clean
website
that
clearly
presented
all
the
important
information
for
new
students,
including
class
schedules,
subscription
plans,
events,
and
details
about
the
instructors.
In
addition
to
the
website,
I
developed
the
school's
complete
visual
identity,
bringing
a
welcoming,
elegant
aesthetic
in
line
with
the
energy
of
kizomba,
with
a
focus
on
conveying
professionalism,
authenticity,
and
accessibility.
Challenge
The
main
challenge
was
to
build
a
digital
presence
that
communicated
the
essence
of
kizomba
—
a
dance
marked
by
fluidity,
rhythm
and
connection
—
without
compromising
the
clarity
of
information
and
user
experience.
The
school
needed
a
website
that
was
easy
to
navigate,
visually
appealing,
and
reinforced
its
credibility
in
Zurich,
where
the
public
seeks
quality,
organisation,
and
trust.
It
was
also
essential
to
incorporate
efficient
SEO,
multilingual
support
in
English
and
German,
and
ensure
a
flexible
structure
for
constant
updates
to
schedules,
plans,
and
events.
Solution
The
solution
was
to
develop
a
lightweight,
elegant,
and
highly
functional
website
using
Next.js,
Tailwind
CSS,
and
fluid
animations
with
GSAP,
ensuring
smooth
navigation
and
a
pleasant
visual
experience.
I
created
the
school's
complete
visual
identity
—
including
logo,
palette,
typography,
and
graphic
direction
—
ensuring
consistency
throughout
the
project.
The
clean
and
organised
design
makes
it
easy
to
read
timetables
and
plans,
while
the
multilingual
structure
allows
users
to
switch
easily
between
English
and
German.
The
website
received
complete
on-page
SEO
optimisation,
optimised
images,
responsive
structure
and
fast
loading,
contributing
directly
to
a
stronger
and
more
professional
digital
presence
in
the
Zurich
dance
market.
